India on Wednesday reported a spike of 42,625 cases, 562 deaths in last 24 hours. It comes a day after the country reported 30,549 cases on Tuesday. After a decline in active caseload after six days on Tuesday, it has risen once again to reach 4,10,353. 36,668 discharges in the last 24 hours have taken the overall recovery number to 3,09,33,022, with 3,17,69,132 being the total infection count so far.
